THE EXECUTIVE HEALTH AND SAFETY COUNCIL OF BC – ROUND TABLE 2021

On November 2nd, the Executive Health and Safety Council will be holding the 11th annual “BC Safety Charter Round Table”. Signatories from across the province will learn, teach, and share their experiences with each other on how to build stronger safety cultures and help make BC the safest province in Canada to work in.

This year’s agenda will be like previous years, with a safety discussion, round table topics, and a powerful keynote presentation. The event will be capped with a networking cocktail reception.

The Board of Directors is proud to announce that Tamara Vrooman, President and CEO of Vancouver International Airport, will be the Keynote speaker. Tamara will be talking, on how the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted safety culture (both at YVR and in general), and the leadership changes that need to happen. This leadership discussion will be held as a “fireside chat” that will explore Tamara’s safety philosophy, how she “made lemonade from COVID” and some of the specific issues she has dealt with over the past few years.  After the presentation there will be a Q&A with attendees.

The 2021 Round Table is being held at the Vancouver Club, in downtown Vancouver. Tickets to the Round Table are included in your membership. If you require extra tickets, and there is space, extra tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. As this year’s event is expected to sell out, please register early. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn and share with other C-suite leaders.
