WorkSafeBC and the Business Case for Safety
On October 17th, 2019, there will be an information forum hosted by the Surrey Board of Trade on the Business Case for Safety. This interactive forum will cover key “WorkSafeBC employer toolsets”, including company report cards, the experience rating program and the employer’s H&S planning toolkit. WSBC consultants will provide an understanding of how your company’s safety performance affects both your business costs and your competitive advantage. You will leave with a greater understanding of WorkSafeBC’s rating system and available tools to specifically show where your company has opportunity to improve
The event is focused at Signatories of companies that have had 3-5 or more reported time-lost injuries annually for the past few years and have more than 30 employees. These requirements MUST be met or else there will not be enough data to work with. The consultants from WSBC will provide you with a 1 page analysis of your safety performance as well as a few thoughts on “what the consultant sees through the lens of the numbers”.
WorkSafeBC will bring your specific company report and 1-page analysis in a sealed envelope. This information will be only distributed to the Signatory and will not be shared with any others.
After the formal portion of the session, the WSBC representatives will field questions from attendees.
Space is very limited at this event, so please register early to ensure your place. If this event sells out early we will endeavour to organize another forum as soon as possible.
