On July 5th, 2019, BC Safety Charter Signatories will be hosted by Freeport Industries for a morning and lunch session in Kelowna BC. Chris Inkster, President of Freeport Industries and 2019 recipient of the Ben Hume Safety Leadership award, will talk about safety from his perspective; the importance of safety to an organisation, how he got his safety program to where it is now and the on-going challenges that he encounters. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and share with other Signatories, in the beautiful Okanagan.
After the forum there will be a light lunch and an opportunity to “talk safety” with other leaders. While this event is targeted to Okanagan members and guests, it is open to all Charter Signatories.
