Dr. Michael Wrinch, CEO of Hedgehog Technologies Inc., is a Professional Electrical Engineer with over two decades of experience specializing in safety-focused engineering and renewable energy solutions. As a certified Functional Safety Engineer (TÜV Rheinland, Germany) and a leader in projects like the Haida Solar North initiative, Dr. Wrinch has demonstrated expertise in integrating safety, sustainability, and innovation. His work spans safety instrumented systems, renewable energy integration, and solutions for hazardous environments. Serving on boards such as Engineers Canada and Technical Safety BC, he is a passionate advocate for embedding safety and environmental stewardship into engineering practices, inspiring teams and organizations to prioritize people and the planet in their work.
